This stately chamber honors Joel and Catherine Schlosser, the original stewards of Willowood in the 19th century. Together, they raised their family on what was then known as The Schlosser Farm, laying the groundwork – both literal and legacy – for generations to come.

Joel, a man of quiet determination, worked the land with care and conviction, while Catherine, elegant and resolute, held the family close through seasons of both hardship and harvest. Their son Josiah would one day guide the farm through the Civil War, but it was Joel and Catherine who first gave the property its soul.
With rich tones, traditional paneling, and a commanding four-poster bed, this suite embodies the strength, grace, and enduring presence of a couple whose legacy still echoes through every tree-lined path and weathered beam of Willowood.
